📋 Description

• Lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of tools, workflows, and AI-powered systems that enhance developer productivity across dLocal’s engineering organization.
• Own the Developer Productivity (DevPro) vision and multi-year roadmap within Cloud Platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and engineering needs.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team including AI software-engineering agent squads, internal frameworks and libraries teams, CI/CD and platform tooling teams, and shared applications teams to reduce engineering friction and improve delivery metrics.
• Scale and drive adoption of production AI agents that automate coding, planning, code review, and vulnerability remediation across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), making AI the default way engineers work.
• Partner with AI Labs, AI Engineering, Platform, SRE, Security, and Product teams to integrate AI agents, engineering metrics, internal frameworks, and the Internal Developer Platform into a cohesive, high-leverage developer experience.
• Foster a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement within a global team of 1000+ teammates from 30+ nationalities.
• Contribute to dLocal’s mission of enabling global merchants to collect payments in 40 emerging markets by improving engineering velocity and reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading developer productivity, platform engineering, or internal tooling teams at scale.
• Deep expertise in AI-powered software engineering tools, including AI agents for code generation, review, and automation.
• Strong background in CI/CD, Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), DevOps, and SDLC optimization.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including SRE, Security, Product, and AI engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to define and execute multi-year technical roadmaps that improve engineering velocity and quality.
