• • As the Head of Finance at TalentSafari SAS (operating as Fixa), you will be instrumental in shaping the financial trajectory of a rapidly scaling fintech company dedicated to empowering Africa’s informal and blue-collar workforce. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with a robust financial acumen and a proven ability to lead and build high-performing teams within a dynamic, high-growth environment. You will be the architect of our financial infrastructure, ensuring its robustness, scalability, and alignment with our ambitious growth objectives across diverse African markets.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to lead and refine the company's overall financial strategy. This encompasses meticulous budgeting, accurate forecasting, proactive cash flow management, and sophisticated financial modeling. You will be the guardian of our financial health, ensuring that every decision is underpinned by sound financial principles and data-driven insights. This includes developing and maintaining detailed financial plans that support our expansion into new territories and product lines, while meticulously tracking key performance indicators to ensure we remain on course.

Your insights will guide the development of financial tools and platforms that can handle increasing transaction volumes and complexity as we grow, ensuring our systems are not just functional but also scalable and future-proof.
• • Overseeing financial reporting is a core duty. This includes preparing accurate and timely monthly financial statements, developing insightful investor updates, and crafting comprehensive board materials. You will be the primary point of contact for communicating our financial performance and strategic outlook to key stakeholders, including investors and the board of directors. Ensuring transparency and clarity in all financial communications will be paramount to maintaining trust and confidence.
• • A key focus will be on driving a deep understanding and clear articulation of our unit economics. You will analyze the profitability and efficiency of our core business operations, providing leadership with the critical data needed to make informed strategic decisions. This involves developing robust metrics, tracking them diligently, and translating complex financial data into actionable insights that guide business strategy and resource allocation.
• • Ensuring strict regulatory compliance across our multi-market operations is non-negotiable. You will navigate the complex financial regulations and reporting requirements across various African countries, establishing and maintaining strong internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to all legal and statutory obligations. • • Success in this role will be measured by the delivery of clean, timely, and reliable monthly reporting with zero surprises, providing clear visibility into our cash runway, burn rate, and capital needs at all times. You will establish and maintain strong financial controls, minimizing reconciliation gaps and audit issues. Furthermore, you will ensure unit economics are clearly defined, tracked, and actively used in leadership decision-making. The finance systems you implement and manage will need to scale seamlessly as transaction volume and market presence grow. Building a high-performing finance team that operates independently and proactively is also a critical success indicator, as is the confidence expressed by investors and the board in the company's financial clarity and discipline.
