- • The Head of Finance & Operations at Flagright Inc. is a leadership role responsible for overseeing financial, HR, and legal operations across global offices in the US, UK, India, and Singapore, ensuring scalable processes support rapid company growth.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing investor updates and board materials, leading FP&A and budgeting, managing accounts payable/receivable, overseeing external audits, directing HR functions (onboarding, payroll, benefits, performance management), mentoring an offshore HR team, establishing people analytics, and partnering with legal counsel on contracts and compliance.
- • Flagright is an AI-powered financial crime compliance platform serving Fortune 500 companies, banks, fintechs, and startups, operating as a lean, high-performance team with direct access to leadership and a bias for action in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- • The role offers the opportunity to build and optimize cross-border financial, HR, and legal systems, gain deep exposure to SaaS metrics and investor relations, lead a distributed team, and directly influence company scalability and operational excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of professional experience with a solid background in Finance (required) and HR and Legal operations (preferred) in a high-growth environment
- • Prior experience in a SaaS start-up or scale-up environment
- • Experience operating across multiple entities, jurisdictions, currencies, and time zones, including cross-border finance, multi-entity accounting, and HR/legal/compliance considerations
- • Strong working knowledge of SaaS business models (ARR, retention, gross margin, CAC/payback, burn, runway, cash forecasting, investor-facing metrics)
- • Proven people-management experience, ideally managing distributed or offshore teams, with high standards for ownership and execution
- • Based in the Bay Area with right to work in the USA (visa sponsorship not available); fully in-person role in Santa Clara office
