📋 Description
- • As the Head of Global Leaves and Benefits at Asana, you will lead the strategy, design, and operations of global benefits and leave of absence programs, ensuring they are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with company culture while supporting Asana’s mission to enable seamless team collaboration.
- • You will set the global benefits roadmap, own the annual renewal cycle, drive harmonization across regions, lead the leave program strategy, mentor a team of three, partner with Legal and Finance for compliance, and lead the migration from Matrix to Larkin for leave administration.
- • Asana’s People Team focuses on recruiting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds to help humanity thrive by enabling teams to collaborate seamlessly, with a strong emphasis on culture, innovation, and workplace excellence recognized by Fortune, Forbes, and Gartner.
- • In this role, you will develop strategic expertise in global total rewards, lead cross-functional initiatives, influence senior leadership through data-driven storytelling, and grow your impact in benefits technology migration and global compliance while mentoring a high-performing team.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of progressive experience in benefits and/or leave administration, with at least 3 years of people management
- • Deep expertise in U.S. benefits and leave programs, complemented by meaningful experience managing international benefits
- • Proven track record of designing and executing benefits strategy from the ground up, including experience leading technology migrations (e.g., leave platforms, BenAdmin systems, or HRIS integrations)
- • Strong analytical skills for cost modeling and the ability to translate complex benefits topics into clear narratives for senior leadership
- • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and value from brokers, carriers, and TPAs
- • Genuine passion for employee experience and a belief that benefits are a meaningful expression of company culture
