- • Speak AI Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Growth for its Korean market, a pivotal role in driving the company's next phase of expansion. As the leader for Korea, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive responsibility of orchestrating sustainable user acquisition, maximizing revenue growth, and fostering long-term user retention. This position demands a strategic visionary who can not only set the direction but also construct the necessary systems and lead a high-caliber team to achieve ambitious business objectives.
- • This role is integral to both the Korean leadership team and Speak’s global Growth organization. You will command all facets of our local growth strategy, encompassing paid media, lifecycle marketing, funnel optimization, and the exploration of novel growth experiments. Furthermore, you will serve as a critical advisor to the brand and product teams, ensuring that Speak's broader consumer business in Korea is strategically positioned for enduring success.
- • Your core mission will be to own and deliver Korea’s ambitious growth targets. This involves significantly expanding our subscriber base while simultaneously enhancing the LTV:CAC ratio through meticulously data-driven acquisition and retention strategies. You will be at the forefront of performance marketing, managing a substantial annual budget exceeding $NM, driving high creative output, fostering a culture of continuous experimentation, and ensuring exceptional media efficiency.
- • A key aspect of this role is architecting and aligning Korea’s full-funnel growth strategy. This encompasses Paid, CRM, Brand, Influencer, and Partnerships, with a clear mandate to drive measurable impact from upper-funnel investments. You will be responsible for establishing robust incrementality frameworks and ensuring seamless channel synergy across both acquisition and retention efforts.
- • You will be empowered to identify, rigorously validate, and strategically scale new growth channels. This includes exploring innovative avenues such as product-led growth loops, exploring alternative paid media platforms, and driving pricing and packaging innovations to unlock new market potential.
- • Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary growth team is paramount. You will build, coach, and manage a team of specialists across paid user acquisition, CRM, and other critical growth functions, fostering an environment of high performance and continuous learning.
- • Establishing and optimizing robust reporting systems is crucial for maintaining daily and weekly visibility into key performance indicators. This includes paid marketing performance, CRM effectiveness, funnel conversion rates, and overall product usage, enabling data-informed decision-making.
- • You will forge strong partnerships with the Brand and Content teams to ensure a cohesive strategy. This involves aligning messaging, creative direction, and audience targeting with overarching performance objectives, creating a unified brand voice that resonates with growth goals.
- • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with the product, brand, and central growth teams to ensure local market opportunities are effectively integrated into global roadmaps, fostering a synergistic approach to growth.
- • You will also play a significant role in shaping Korea’s brand positioning and communication strategy. This contribution will be vital in supporting broader market growth and solidifying Speak's presence and appeal within the Korean landscape.

- • Finally, you will leverage your deep understanding of Korean consumer behavior, combined with a global perspective, to adapt and implement world-class growth strategies tailored to the local market, ensuring Speak's continued dominance and expansion.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven growth leadership: 7+ years in high-growth tech or consumer startups, with ownership of $10M+ annual marketing budgets across both web and app.
- • Full-stack growth expertise: Deep hands-on experience across performance marketing, upper-funnel brand integration, funnel optimization, and experimentation—able to translate brand awareness and messaging strategy into measurable subscriber growth and improved LTV:CAC.
- • Builder mentality: Comfortable building systems, dashboards, and processes from scratch—while operating at both strategic and executional levels.
- • Strong operator: Ability to synthesize performance signals and drive cross-functional execution across marketing, product, and brand.
- • Team leader & coach: Track record of building, mentoring, and managing high-performing growth and marketing teams.
- • Local fluency, global mindset: Deep understanding of Korean consumer behavior with the ability to adapt and apply global best practices.
- • Business fluency in English: Capable of leading collaboration with global stakeholders and aligning local efforts to global goals.
