Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As the first Head of Growth Marketing at Fathom Technologies Inc., you will define and build the growth function from the ground up, directly influencing how the company acquires, activates, and retains users in a high-impact, remote-first environment. Your work will be critical to scaling Fathom’s product-led growth (PLG) motion and turning its AI-powered meeting assistant into a category-defining brand.
- • You will own the end-to-end growth strategy across the full funnel — from awareness and acquisition to activation, retention, and virality — designing and executing data-driven experiments that translate into measurable increases in signups, product adoption, and revenue.
- • Day to day, you will take ownership of new user acquisition targets, driving strategy across paid marketing, SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and emerging channels while continuously testing and optimizing for efficiency and scale.
- • You will design, run, and scale growth experiments across acquisition, in-product activation, and referral funnels, collaborating closely with Product and Data teams to embed growth loops into the user journey and improve conversion at every stage.
- • You will build and manage multi-channel campaigns — including paid, organic, lifecycle, referral, and partnership initiatives — coordinating with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, execution excellence, and ROI.
- • Partnering with Product and Data, you will help shape onboarding flows, in-product prompts, and conversion journeys that reduce friction and increase time-to-value, turning users into advocates.
- • You will define, measure, and report on key growth KPIs (CAC, LTV, activation rate, virality coefficient, etc.), owning dashboards and analytical insights that inform leadership decisions and budget allocation.
- • You will continuously research and test new channels, tactics, and tools — including AI-driven marketing platforms — to keep Fathom ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving landscape.
- • You will build scalable, repeatable playbooks for successful campaigns and experiments, ensuring knowledge is documented and processes can be expanded as the team grows.
- • You will work closely with the VP of Marketing and cross-functional leaders in Product, Sales, Ops, and Executive teams to align growth initiatives with company goals, contributing to strategic planning and resource allocation.
- • As a player-coach, you will balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution — rolling up your sleeves to launch campaigns, analyze results, and iterate quickly in a resource-constrained, high-velocity startup environment.
- • You will thrive in Fathom’s culture of Care Deeply, Seek Leverage, Share Ownership, Sustain Urgency, and Be Tenacious, where autonomy, transparency, and bias toward action are rewarded.
- • The role offers immediate impact: as the first growth marketer, your decisions will shape the company’s trajectory, with clear visibility into how your work drives product adoption and revenue growth.
- • You will grow your expertise at the intersection of AI, PLG, and modern growth marketing, working with cutting-edge tools and methodologies in a domain where innovation moves fast.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in self-serve subscription growth, demand generation, or performance marketing within B2B SaaS, preferably with a product-led growth (PLG) focus.
- • Proven track record of designing, executing, and scaling growth experiments that deliver measurable improvements in acquisition, activation, or revenue.
- • Strong analytical proficiency with experience in funnel analysis, growth KPIs (CAC, LTV, conversion rates), and tools such as GA4, Amplitude, Hex, or HubSpot.
- • Hands-on experience managing multi-channel campaigns (paid, organic, lifecycle, referral) and working with platforms like WebFlow, HubSpot, and ad networks.
- • Creative, scrappy mindset with the ability to ideate, launch, and measure campaigns quickly using limited resources.
- • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Data, Sales, and Ops teams to align growth initiatives with product and business goals.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote work with async-first culture, enabling deep work and flexibility to design your ideal work environment.
- • Opportunity to build the growth function from zero as the first hire in the role, with significant autonomy and ownership over strategy and execution.
- • Direct impact on company growth: your work will influence user acquisition, product adoption, and revenue in a high-visibility, high-impact role.
- • Exposure to cutting-edge AI applications in both product and internal operations, keeping you at the forefront of technological innovation.
- • Collaborative, values-driven culture rooted in Care Deeply, Seek Leverage, Share Ownership, Sustain Urgency, and Be Tenacious.
- • Access to professional growth through close partnership with experienced leaders in Marketing, Product, and Executive teams.
