📋 Description

• As Head of Integration at Swarmer AI Inc., you will lead the integration of third-party systems and Swarmer’s software onto customer platforms—including aerial, ground, and maritime systems—ensuring seamless interoperability in high-stakes defense environments. This role is critical to scaling the company’s autonomous drone technology from early deployments to full operational tempo, directly supporting mission-critical capabilities for democratic nations.
• You will manage end-to-end integration of vendor solutions (e.g., video navigation, comms modules), lead R&D on new platform integrations, serve as the primary technical liaison with hardware partners, and own the deployment of Swarmer’s software across diverse customer platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining integration workflows, establishing documentation standards in Jira and playbooks, and driving consistent, predictable delivery timelines.
• You will build and scale the integration organization from the ground up—designing team structure, hiring and developing technical leads, and growing sub-teams to meet increasing demand. This involves creating structured processes, mentoring engineers, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Swarmer AI Inc. is a Ukrainian defense technology pioneer that made history as the first Ukrainian defense startup to list on NASDAQ in March 2026 following a $15M Series A. The company builds battle-tested autonomous drone software proven in Ukraine’s frontline conditions, enabling swarms of drones to operate without pilots. • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in defense-tech integration, strengthen leadership and systems-thinking abilities, and gain end-to-end ownership of complex hardware-software integration lifecycles. You will grow as a technical leader capable of scaling teams and processes in high-pressure, mission-driven environments while advancing your impact on national and global security capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong technical background with solid working knowledge of embedded systems, Linux, and hardware platforms
• Experience managing engineering teams, including leading multiple sub-teams and developing technical leads
• Hands-on experience at the intersection of software and hardware
• Systematic approach to work: ability to scope, estimate, and deliver integration projects
• Documentation discipline—proficiency with Jira, process documentation, and integration playbooks
• Great organizational and communication skills: ability to align stakeholders and drive cross-domain collaboration
• Stress resilience, fast problem-solving, persistence, and an ownership-driven mindset
• Excellent English proficiency
