- • Own and maintain the fundraise tracker for all active investor conversations, ensuring deal stages, follow-up dates, and contact details are continuously updated and accurate
- • Build and refine pitch decks for fundraising rounds and LP meetings in close collaboration with the CEO, aligning content with the latest company narrative, financial data, and strategic direction
- • Draft and distribute quarterly investor updates using a standardized template, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and consistency to keep LPs and VCs informed and confident between direct touchpoints
- • Coordinate with the data team to fulfill investor data requests, accurately packaging financial and operational metrics within reasonable timelines and ensuring data integrity
- • Manage the regulatory filings calendar for private fundraising, proactively identifying and flagging upcoming deadlines for SEC submissions and other compliance obligations
- • Map and maintain a structured CRM of LP and VC relationships, tracking warm introductions, engagement history, and identifying high-value targets for future fundraising cycles
- • Prepare the CEO for investor meetings by assembling relevant context, recent performance data, and open questions from prior conversations to ensure strategic alignment and readiness
- • Serve as the primary operational connective tissue between the CEO, legal team, data team, and the investor base, ensuring seamless communication and execution across functions
- • Be present in investor meetings and calls to provide credible, informed support — while not leading meetings solo, you must be able to answer questions and represent the company with authority
- • Operate independently without hand-holding, owning end-to-end execution of fundraising logistics so the CEO can focus on strategy and deal-making
- • Maintain an unusual level of organization, proactively catching and resolving operational gaps before they impact investor trust or fundraising momentum
- • Ensure all investor-facing materials reflect the company’s credibility and transparency, with zero need for CEO revision on communication quality or accuracy
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of direct experience in investor relations, fundraising operations, or a capital markets role where you personally owned the logistics of a raise — not just supported it from a distance
- • Hands-on experience managing a fundraise tracker, building pitch decks, and coordinating diligence materials without needing senior leadership to manage the process for you
- • Strong written communication skills — your investor updates should be clear, tight, and reflect well on the company without revision from the CEO every cycle
- • Working knowledge of how regulatory filings work in the context of private fundraising, including familiarity with relevant deadlines and submission processes
- • Comfortable pulling, interpreting, and packaging financial and operational data for investor audiences — you know what good output looks like
- • Presentable and credible in investor settings — you will be in meetings and on calls and need to hold your own
