• • As the Head of IT at Heidi Health Pty Ltd, you will be instrumental in shaping and leading the company's global internal IT function. This pivotal role is designed for a pragmatic, systems-minded leader who is passionate about building secure, scalable, and seamless IT foundations that empower our distributed teams to perform at their best, regardless of their location.
• • You will be responsible for defining and executing Heidi's comprehensive global IT strategy, encompassing critical areas such as identity and access management (IAM), device management, core infrastructure, and internal security protocols. This is a strategic leadership position, extending far beyond traditional helpdesk responsibilities, focusing on establishing the robust infrastructure necessary for Heidi's rapid global expansion.
• • A key responsibility will be the design and implementation of a sophisticated IAM architecture. This includes establishing robust Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies, and efficient provisioning and deprovisioning workflows across all company systems. The goal is to ensure secure and streamlined access for all employees.
• • You will architect and build global onboarding and offboarding processes that are not only highly secure but also exceptionally seamless. These processes must be designed to scale effectively, accommodating rapid growth without compromising efficiency or security.
• • Protecting Heidi's digital assets and operational integrity as the company scales is paramount. You will implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions tailored for a distributed, global workforce, ensuring all endpoints are managed and secure.
• • Oversight of endpoint security is crucial. This involves managing device compliance, ensuring timely patching, and championing zero-trust security practices. You will collaborate closely with the Security and Engineering teams to integrate these practices seamlessly into the IT infrastructure.
• • Establishing clear, practical, and scalable IT policies will be a core function. These policies will guide the organization in maintaining security and operational excellence as the company grows.
• • You will be tasked with maintaining and optimizing internal IT infrastructure, supporting both physical office environments and remote work setups. This ensures that all employees have reliable access to the tools and systems they need.
• • A significant focus will be placed on automation. You will identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative tasks, thereby reducing manual effort and increasing operational efficiency across the IT function.
• • You will play a key role in supporting various compliance initiatives, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR, specifically from the perspective of internal systems and their adherence to these critical frameworks.
• • Vendor management will be a significant aspect of your role. You will oversee relationships with vendors across SaaS, hardware, and other IT services, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
• • As Heidi scales globally, you will lead and develop a high-performing IT team. This involves mentoring, coaching, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the IT department.
