  • • As the Head of IT at Eye Security, Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our technology infrastructure and operations. This pivotal role demands a leader who is not only a strategic thinker but also a hands-on executor, capable of driving significant transformation within a rapidly growing cybersecurity firm. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated IT team focused on IT Engineering, Project Management, and IT Security.
  • • Your primary objective will be to elevate the IT function from a purely supportive role to a strategic business partner. This involves defining and implementing a comprehensive IT strategy that is intrinsically aligned with Eye Security's overarching business goals and ambitious growth trajectory. You will be tasked with introducing robust structure, effective governance, and scalable operating models across the entire IT landscape, ensuring that our systems and processes can support our expansion.
  • • A key aspect of this role is leading organizational change, fostering a culture where IT is perceived as a trusted advisor and proactive enabler, rather than a reactive service provider. You will be responsible for designing and managing highly reliable IT operations, encompassing best-in-class service management, efficient incident response protocols, and streamlined change management processes. This ensures minimal disruption and maximum uptime for our critical business functions.
  • • You will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, which spans both AWS and Azure environments. This includes managing and enhancing core tooling such as Twingate, PagerDuty, and CrowdStrike, ensuring they are configured for optimal performance, security, and scalability. Your expertise will be vital in keeping our digital backbone robust and resilient.
  • • Ensuring a strong security posture is paramount. You will be responsible for threat detection, vulnerability management, and ensuring compliance with stringent industry frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and the upcoming NIS2 directive. This proactive approach to security is fundamental to our mission as a cybersecurity company.
  • • You will provide essential technical support to our engineering teams, enabling them to maintain our 24/7 service operations without interruption. This collaborative effort ensures that our internal IT infrastructure directly supports our external service delivery.
  • • Leading IT projects from inception to completion will be a core responsibility. This includes managing the integration of new SaaS applications, spearheading infrastructure modernization initiatives, and overseeing vendor relationships to ensure we leverage the best external resources and technologies.
  • • Enabling the business through robust workplace IT solutions, sophisticated identity and access management (IAM) systems, and efficient core business applications is critical. You will ensure our employees have the tools and access they need to perform at their best.
  • • You will own IT performance metrics and cost efficiency, utilizing clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and managing the IT budget responsibly to drive measurable business impact. This involves making data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation and maximize ROI.
  • • Oversight of our core data platforms is also within your remit. You will ensure strong data governance, maintain data integrity, and guarantee compliance with all relevant data protection regulations.
  • • Finally, you will build, lead, and develop a high-performing IT team. This involves fostering a culture of ownership, encouraging collaboration, and promoting continuous improvement and professional development within your team, creating a motivated and effective IT department.
  • • This role offers a unique chance to build something truly impactful within a cybersecurity company that lives and breathes security, providing an unparalleled opportunity to shape IT strategy and execution in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.
