  • • Join Patch My PC, a rapidly growing company dedicated to improving lives through innovative software solutions, as an experienced DevOps Engineer. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational efficiency and ensuring the seamless delivery of our cutting-edge products. This is an opportunity to work with a passionate, fully remote team of 150 individuals who are committed to our core values of improving lives, fostering a positive work environment, and delivering exceptional value to our customers.
  • • As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software development and IT operations, to design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on automating processes, building and managing our cloud-based infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our software delivery pipelines.
  • • A key responsibility will be the continuous improvement and maintenance of our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will be instrumental in streamlining the build, test, and deployment phases, enabling faster and more frequent releases of new features and updates to our growing customer base of over 9,000 clients managing more than 29 million devices.
  • • You will be a guardian of our cloud infrastructure, primarily leveraging Microsoft Azure. This involves provisioning, configuring, monitoring, and optimizing cloud resources to ensure high availability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Your expertise will be crucial in managing and scaling our Azure environment to meet the demands of our expanding user base and product offerings.
  • • Kubernetes will be a central part of your toolkit. You will be responsible for deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Kubernetes clusters. This includes ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our container orchestration platform, enabling efficient management of our microservices architecture.
  • • Automation is at the heart of DevOps, and you will be expected to identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks across development, testing, deployment, and infrastructure management. This includes scripting, configuration management, and the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • • You will work with a variety of automation and configuration management tools to ensure consistency and repeatability in our infrastructure and deployment processes. This includes tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies, enabling us to manage our infrastructure programmatically.
  • • Monitoring and logging are critical for maintaining system health and performance. You will implement and manage comprehensive monitoring solutions to track application and infrastructure performance, identify potential issues proactively, and ensure rapid response to incidents. This includes setting up alerts and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into system status.
  • • You will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues that may arise in our production and development environments. This requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to diagnose problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
  • • Security will be an integral part of your responsibilities. You will work to embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle and infrastructure management, ensuring that our systems are protected against threats and comply with relevant security standards.
  • • Contribute to the continuous learning and improvement of the DevOps culture within the company. This involves sharing knowledge, mentoring junior team members, and staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the DevOps space.
  • • You will have the opportunity to shape and influence the technical direction of our infrastructure and deployment strategies, contributing to the long-term success and scalability of Patch My PC.
  • • This role offers the chance to work on challenging projects that directly impact the security and efficiency of IT professionals worldwide, making a tangible difference in their daily work by simplifying complex software management tasks.
