  • • You will be instrumental in developing and refining the wireless network architecture, encompassing everything from access points and controllers to ensuring seamless connectivity across vast operational areas.

  • • Utilizing advanced design tools such as Ekahau, you will create detailed heat maps and sophisticated WiFi coverage models, providing visual representations of signal strength and potential dead zones, which are crucial for effective planning and deployment.
  • • You will engage directly with clients, understanding their specific wireless connectivity requirements, operational objectives, and future scalability needs to deliver tailored solutions.
  • • The role demands the selection and precise configuration of appropriate hardware and software components, ensuring that the chosen technologies align with the stringent demands of government environments and provide maximum performance and coverage.
  • • You will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing optimization of these wireless solutions, continuously fine-tuning the network to achieve peak performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
  • • Conducting thorough wireless signal tests and performance assessments will be a regular part of your duties, allowing you to proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues before they impact operations.
  • • Maintaining detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and any subsequent changes is critical for knowledge transfer, auditing, and future maintenance, ensuring a clear and accurate record of the network infrastructure.
  • • Providing expert technical support and troubleshooting for the most complex network issues will be expected, leveraging your deep understanding of wireless technologies to resolve critical problems.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor's degree AND 8+ years of directly related Ekahau experience OR minimum of 12 years of experience in WiFi design and deployment utilizing Ekahau.
  • • CWDP (Certified Wireless Design Professional) certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • • Strong understanding of RF principles and wireless communication.
  • • Experience with network security practices and wireless security protocols.
  • • Minimum Clearance: Secret
  • • US Citizenship required
