- • Build and own Allium’s marketing function from scratch as the first Head of Marketing, reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with GTM leadership to drive revenue and brand adoption.
- • Define and own Allium’s narrative across four key segments: developers, crypto-native teams, TradFi/institutional buyers, and federal customers, translating complex blockchain data infrastructure into crisp, differentiated messaging.
- • Build the category story around trustworthy, production-grade blockchain data that positions Allium as the default choice for institutional onchain finance.
- • Design and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns to drive qualified pipeline in partnership with BDRs, commercial, TradFi, and federal sales teams.
- • Own end-to-end content strategy including technical blog posts, research reports, conference keynotes, developer documentation, and customer case studies.
- • Stand up and manage account-based marketing (ABM) motions targeting high-value accounts in financial services, fintech, and government verticals.
- • Build Allium’s presence in the developer ecosystem through hackathons, high-quality API documentation, ecosystem partnerships, and community engagement channels.
- • Create feedback loops between developer usage patterns and product/marketing messaging to inform iteration and positioning.
- • Own Allium’s presence at key industry events including Consensus, Token2049, Permissionless, DC Blockchain Summit, and TradFi fintech conferences.
- • Drive co-marketing initiatives with ecosystem partners across blockchains, wallets, and data tooling providers.
- • Build the marketing tech stack and measurement framework, establishing attribution models and linking marketing activities directly to pipeline contribution and ARR targets.
- • Align all marketing KPIs with company revenue goals and work closely with GTM leadership to ensure marketing efforts are directly tied to sales outcomes.
- • Position Allium as the trusted data layer for institutions, engineers, analysts, and autonomous AI agents transacting onchain.
- • Translate technical complexity into compelling narratives for both technical and executive audiences without oversimplifying core infrastructure concepts.
- • Demonstrate deep understanding of Web3/blockchain ecosystems — including L2s, on-chain analytics, DeFi, and institutional crypto adoption — to credibly engage with customers and prospects.
- • Operate as a revenue function, not a brand exercise, with emphasis on measurable pipeline generation and conversion.
- • Maintain obsessiveness in messaging accuracy, ensuring every word, data point, and claim reflects the company’s standard for correctness and completeness.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years in B2B marketing, with meaningful time at a developer-facing infrastructure, data, or fintech company
- • Demonstrated experience building marketing from early stage without a large team or big budget
- • Deep understanding of the Web3/blockchain ecosystem — ability to hold technical conversations about L2s, on-chain analytics, DeFi, and institutional crypto adoption
- • Strong written communication skills — ability to translate technical complexity into compelling, accurate narratives
- • Data-driven mindset — measure what matters and cut what doesn’t
- • Track record of tight collaboration with sales/GTM teams, not operating in a silo
