We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Mid-Market Sales to join our growing team in New York, driving revenue growth and shaping the future of event marketing intelligence.
  • • As the Head of Mid-Market Sales, you will be instrumental in leading, coaching, and scaling a high-performing sales team dedicated to our mid-market segment. This is a pivotal role for a hands-on sales leader who possesses a deep understanding of the entire sales lifecycle, from initial engagement and deal execution to robust people leadership and seamless cross-functional collaboration. Your primary responsibility will be to drive new revenue acquisition, continuously optimize our sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness, and foster the development of top-tier sales talent. You will work in close partnership with our Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure we are delivering exceptional and measurable value to our prospects and customers.
  • • This role requires a minimum commitment of 4 days per week in our New York office, reporting directly to our Head of Sales. You will be at the forefront of our mid-market expansion, playing a critical role in defining and executing strategies that resonate with this vital customer segment. Your ability to translate complex event marketing challenges into clear, data-backed solutions will be key to your success.
  • • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talented Mid-Market Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and accountability.
  • • Own and drive team bookings targets, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue goals and strategic objectives.
  • • Maintain rigorous oversight of pipeline health, implementing best practices for pipeline generation, qualification, and management to ensure predictable revenue delivery.
  • • Provide accurate and reliable sales forecasts, enabling informed business decisions and strategic planning.
  • • Actively participate in key deals, offering strategic guidance, support with pricing structures, negotiation expertise, and closing assistance to ensure successful outcomes.
  • • Collaborate with senior leadership to define, refine, and iterate on our mid-market sales motion, adapting strategies to evolving market dynamics and customer needs.
  • • Develop a deep understanding of event marketing pain points and effectively articulate how Vendelux's platform provides unique, data-backed value propositions.
  • • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with Marketing to align on lead generation strategies and campaign effectiveness, with Customer Success to ensure seamless customer onboarding and retention, and with Product to provide market feedback and influence the product roadmap.
  • • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and best practices, sharing insights across the sales organization.
  • • Champion Vendelux's mission and values, acting as a role model for the sales team and contributing to a positive and dynamic company culture.
  • • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the event marketing and B2B SaaS spaces.
  • • Contribute to the development of sales enablement materials, training programs, and playbooks to support the ongoing success of the sales team.
  • • Drive a consultative selling approach, ensuring our Account Executives are equipped to understand prospect needs and position Vendelux as an indispensable solution.
  • • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the mid-market team, implementing coaching and performance improvement plans as needed.
  • • Contribute to the overall sales strategy and planning process, providing valuable insights from the mid-market perspective.
  • • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and advocacy within the mid-market segment through effective sales engagement and handover to Customer Success.
