Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end mobile product strategy for a consumer fintech app that already serves 500,000 users and is growing fast. You will sit shoulder-to-shoulder with the CEO to define what “delight” looks like on iOS and Android, then turn that vision into a living roadmap that the entire company rallies behind.
- • Translate complex data-monetization models into simple, trustworthy, and even joyful mobile experiences. You will partner daily with our data-science team to surface the right data points, price them correctly, and present them in a way that makes users feel in control of their privacy and earnings.
- • Set and guard the quality bar for every pixel and interaction. You will establish design systems, performance budgets, and release criteria so that every update feels faster, safer, and more valuable than the last. When the bar slips, you roll up your sleeves and fix it—fast.
- • Instrument, measure, and iterate. You will define the event taxonomy, pick the North-Star metrics, and build lightweight dashboards that the whole team can read at a glance. You will run weekly growth sprints, A/B tests, and user-journey reviews to keep velocity high and politics low.
- • Balance user happiness with business growth. Neon pays users real money, so every feature must increase both lifetime value and lifetime trust. You will design incentive loops, referral mechanics, and payout flows that feel generous yet sustainable.
- • Navigate the App Store and Google Play like a diplomat and a strategist. You will manage release trains, phased rollouts, feature flags, and policy reviews so we ship on Monday instead of getting rejected on Friday.
- • Recruit, mentor, and retain a cross-functional squad of designers, engineers, and analysts. You will run rituals that are short, energizing, and outcome-oriented—stand-ups that end early, retros that end with action items, and planning sessions that end with clear owners.
- • Champion the voice of the user in every executive conversation. You will run continuous customer discovery—interviews, surveys, diary studies, and in-app feedback—to surface pain points before they become churn.
- • Build for scale today, flexibility tomorrow. You will make architectural bets that let us add new verticals (health data, shopping data, social data) without re-writing the app every quarter.
- • Communicate with radical clarity. You will write one-pagers, PRDs, and launch emails that engineers quote and investors tweet. When priorities shift, you over-communicate so no one is surprised.
- • Cultivate a culture of pragmatic speed. You will celebrate scrappy MVPs that ship in weeks, not months, and you will sunset features that no longer earn their keep. You know that perfect is the enemy of profitable.
- • Represent Neon at industry events, in the press, and on product panels. You will tell the story of how we turned the surveillance economy into a user-powered revenue stream—and invite the best talent in the world to join us.
