📋 Description
- • As Head of Operations at PermitFlow, you will lead and scale the operational engine behind an applied AI company transforming how America builds by accelerating permitting, licensing, inspections, and project closeouts for construction companies.
- • You will manage a team of Operations Managers and Operations Leads supported by a global workforce, own customer operations to ensure reliable, high-quality service that drives retention and expansion, and partner with Sales and Customer Success to onboard and convert customers into long-term partnerships.
- • PermitFlow is a fast-growing, well-funded startup that has raised over $90M from top-tier investors including Accel, Kleiner Perkins, Initialized, Y Combinator, and others, and is deploying AI to solve one of the largest information challenges in the $1.6T construction industry.
- • You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to identify automation and AI-enabled workflow opportunities, build scalable systems and metrics, and translate operational insights into product improvements that power thousands of permitting workflows and support the company’s growth in the new capex supercycle across data centers, factories, housing, and renewables.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7–12+ years of experience in operations, with at least 3–4 years in a senior leadership role managing managers and large teams
- • Experience scaling operational processes in a high-growth environment
- • Proven track record scaling operations in a high-growth startup or tech-enabled services company
- • Experience managing teams at meaningful scale (100+ people)
- • Data-driven decision maker who can define the right metrics, interpret them, and act on them
- • Excellent communicator and cross-functional partner; able to collaborate effectively with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and the executive team
