- • Architect the People function from the ground up. You will be Jitter’s first People hire, reporting directly to the CEO. From day one you will define the vision, strategy, and three-year roadmap for how we attract, develop, and retain world-class talent while protecting the culture that has made us special.
- • Own end-to-end talent acquisition at scale. You will design and run a repeatable, data-driven hiring engine that can double headcount year-over-year without compromising quality or candidate experience. This includes sourcing senior ICs and leaders across product, engineering, design, go-to-market and operations; building employer-brand campaigns; training hiring managers; and tracking funnel metrics obsessively.
- • Shape organization design for international growth. Partner with the founders to decide when to open new hubs, how to structure teams for speed and autonomy, and which leadership roles are needed next. You will run quarterly org-design sprints, head-count planning, succession mapping, and scenario modeling for Series B scale.
- • Build performance and growth frameworks that scale. Create transparent leveling guides, feedback rituals, and career paths so every Jitter employee knows what great looks like and how to get there. Pilot lightweight OKR and 360 processes that feel human, not bureaucratic, and iterate based on engagement data.
- • Champion culture through concrete rituals. Translate our values—Excellence, Energy, Team Play, Ownership—into onboarding journeys, recognition programs, learning budgets, and team norms. You will host monthly culture retros, run pulse surveys, and turn insights into action within two-week sprints.
- • Run rock-solid People operations. Select and manage HRIS, payroll, benefits, and compliance vendors across France, the US, and future entities. Ensure flawless execution of contracts, visa sponsorships, equity grants, and parental leave so the team can focus on product and customers.
- • Coach and upskill leaders. Deliver 1:1 coaching to founders and managers on feedback, delegation, difficult conversations, and inclusive leadership. Create a lightweight manager playbook and facilitate peer-learning circles that turn good managers into exceptional ones.
- • Turn People data into strategic advantage. Build dashboards for hiring velocity, diversity, engagement, and regrettable attrition. Present insights to the board, forecast risks, and recommend levers that keep Jitter in the top-quartile of SaaS benchmarks.
- • Be the trusted bridge between employees and leadership. Hold open office hours, run stay-interviews, and surface themes that matter. When friction appears, you mediate with empathy and propose solutions that strengthen trust and transparency.
- • Evolve your own role as the company grows. Starting as a team of one, you will hire and mentor People Ops, Talent, and People Business Partner specialists. By 2027 you will have built a lean, world-class People org that punches far above its weight.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years in People & Talent roles within high-growth Tech or SaaS companies, including at least 3 years owning full-cycle senior hiring
- • Proven track record of designing and scaling People processes (recruiting, performance, comp, engagement) from scratch
- • Fluency in English; conversational French strongly preferred
- • Data-driven mindset with experience building dashboards and translating metrics into action
- • Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels—able to craft vision and also close a senior candidate the same afternoon
