- • As a Payroll Specialist Lead for Croatia and Serbia, you will serve as a subject matter expert managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and timely processing while supporting regional payroll specialists and acting as a backup for regional managers.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include processing full payroll cycles, handling statutory filings and approvals, managing stakeholder relationships across Finance, Product, and Engineering teams, focusing on KPIs and SLAs, implementing process improvements, conducting accounting and reconciliations, and mentoring junior team members.
- • You will join Remote Technologies Inc., a fully remote global HR technology company with team members across six continents, dedicated to solving global employment challenges through innovation, automation, and AI-driven solutions while fostering an inclusive, asynchronous work culture.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in international payroll compliance, lead process optimization initiatives, develop leadership and mentoring skills, and gain exposure to global HR systems like SAP and Pantheon, positioning yourself for advancement within Remote’s Global Payroll Operations team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Payroll management or equivalent experience
- • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, or Google Sheets
- • Professional working proficiency in both English and Serbian/Croatian
- • Experience working with Pantheon software
- • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international, asynchronous work environment
