📋 Description

• As Head of People at VRChat, you will serve as the most senior People leader reporting directly to the CEO, owning the full People function to shape how the company attracts, develops, and retains talent aligned with its mission.
• You will act as a player-coach, setting strategic direction while executing hands-on initiatives, leading a small, high-impact team in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.
• VRChat is an immersive social platform with a passionate global user base and vibrant creator community, backed by $100M in funding, operating with a lean, fast-moving culture that values inclusivity and community alignment.
• You will partner with the CEO and business leaders as a trusted advisor, coach managers, and champion people and culture, while exploring how AI can transform People team operations to drive impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience building and leading People functions in high-growth, tech-driven environments
• Demonstrated ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on executor in lean, remote-first organizations
• Deep expertise in talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and culture building
• Strong track record of partnering with executives and coaching managers to drive organizational effectiveness
