- • The Head of People (Global) at Bjak Sdn. Bhd. will own and operate the full spectrum of human resources across the company’s global organization, spanning Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, the UK, and the US, including both on-site and remote teams.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading end-to-end HR functions such as talent acquisition, HR business partnering, employee engagement, learning and development, payroll, compensation and benefits, and HR operations, while personally driving critical hiring across technical, commercial, and corporate roles.
- • The role involves close partnership with founders and senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development, acting as both a trusted advisor and hands-on problem-solver.
- • The individual will build and operate practical performance management and feedback frameworks, drive engagement initiatives that strengthen retention and alignment, manage global compliance and employment structures across jurisdictions, and progressively build and lead a high-quality HR team with a bias toward execution and ownership.

- • Proven experience leading end-to-end HR in a fast-growing, international organization.
- • Strong hands-on background with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
- • Experience managing HR across multiple countries, including a mix of local entities, remote employees, and third-party employment structures.
- • Solid expertise across talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, payroll, and HR operations.
- • Strong judgment and business acumen, with the ability to make pragmatic decisions in ambiguous situations.
- • High ownership mindset - comfortable rolling up sleeves and solving problems directly.
