📋 Description

  • Lead the strategic growth and expansion of 1KOMMA5°’s commercial real estate portfolio across Germany, identifying and securing new commercial properties for solar energy installations.
  • Develop and execute a scalable acquisition strategy to increase the pipeline of commercial rooftops and ground-mounted sites suitable for photovoltaic systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial property owners, real estate agents, brokers, and facility managers to drive property acquisition and lease negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including legal, finance, and engineering to evaluate property feasibility, conduct due diligence, and ensure compliance with regulatory and technical requirements.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regional energy policies to inform location prioritization and investment decisions.
  • Set and track key performance indicators for real estate acquisition, including number of contracts signed, square meters secured, and time-to-contract metrics.
  • Represent 1KOMMA5° at industry events, real estate forums, and energy conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
  • Manage and mentor a team of real estate acquisition specialists, providing coaching, setting goals, and ensuring alignment with company-wide growth targets.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on portfolio progress, market opportunities, and risks related to property acquisition.
  • Negotiate and finalize long-term lease agreements with commercial property owners, ensuring favorable terms for 1KOMMA5° while maintaining positive landlord relationships.
  • Ensure all real estate transactions adhere to company policies, legal standards, and sustainability goals.
  • Work closely with the sales and project development teams to transition secured properties into the installation pipeline efficiently.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with property ownership, zoning restrictions, structural limitations, and tenant turnover.
  • Stay updated on German energy regulations, tax incentives, and grid connection policies affecting commercial solar deployment.
  • Drive innovation in property sourcing by exploring new channels such as digital platforms, data-driven property matching tools, and partnerships with real estate tech startups.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial real estate acquisition or property development, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing lease and purchase agreements with commercial property owners
  • Deep understanding of German real estate markets, zoning laws, and energy regulations
  • Experience managing and leading a team of acquisition specialists or sales professionals
  • Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable growth strategies
  • Fluency in German (C1 level or equivalent) and professional working proficiency in English
