- • The Paid Social Account Director role leads the strategic direction, delivery, and performance of paid social activity across assigned client accounts within the Paid Social team at MG OMD, ensuring campaigns align with client business objectives and wider agency goals.
- • Day to day, the role involves providing clear leadership as the senior paid social lead on accounts, building client confidence, ensuring paid social integrates effectively with other paid media channels, and maintaining a strong focus on commercial delivery, operational rigour, and people leadership.
- • MG OMD, part of Omnicom Media Group (OMG), is the second-largest media agency in the UK and the most awarded in IPA Effectiveness Awards and Thinkbox’s TV Planning Awards history, recently named Agency of the Year across multiple prestigious awards, working with leading brands like John Lewis Partnership, Virgin Media O2, British Airways, and HM Government.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading paid social strategy and execution for multiple client accounts
- • Strong ability to build client relationships and provide confident leadership as a senior account lead
- • Demonstrated success in integrating paid social with broader paid media channels for cohesive campaigns
- • Experience driving commercial delivery and operational rigour in paid social campaigns
- • Background in people leadership or team management within a media or agency environment
- • Familiarity with working with major UK brands across sectors such as retail, telecoms, travel, or government
