• • The Regional Growth team is instrumental in expanding Kraken's footprint by increasing our client base, transaction volume, and revenue within key geographical markets. This role specifically targets the Indian market, aiming to optimize Kraken's positioning and competitiveness against local rivals.
• • As the Head of Regional Growth for India, you will be the driving force behind our growth strategy in this critical region. Your primary objective will be to differentiate Kraken's brand and product offerings, compelling prospective clients to choose Kraken for their cryptocurrency, payment, and investment needs.
• • This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a blend of strategic thinking and execution. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the Indian market, with the goal of significantly increasing market share.
• • A key focus will be on acquiring new users within the region and enhancing their journey across the entire customer lifecycle, from initial onboarding and engagement to active trading and exploration of Kraken's extensive product suite.
• • You will expertly leverage global marketing campaigns, creative assets, content, and brand guidelines, adapting them to resonate deeply with the preferences and nuances of the Indian audience.
• • This position demands strong leadership and cross-functional orchestration. You will collaborate closely with global and local teams, including product, onboarding, pricing, banking/funding, sales, and global marketing, to prioritize and execute India-specific initiatives amidst a dynamic competitive landscape.
• • A significant part of your role will involve conceptualizing and developing 'local-first' growth ideas that uniquely position Kraken's brand and effectively persuade potential customers to engage with our offerings.
• • We are seeking a versatile growth leader who is not afraid to 'roll up their sleeves.' This could involve a wide range of activities, including producing localized content, planning and managing events, optimizing Kraken's web presence in India, adapting advertisements for local appeal, managing local social media channels, and acting as a spokesperson for Kraken in PR engagements and interviews.
• • Data-driven decision-making is paramount. You will be responsible for meticulously measuring results, analyzing growth performance using available data, and intervening proactively to maximize revenue growth and all contributing factors.
• • While India is your primary focus, you will also contribute to broader regional growth strategies as Kraken expands its operations.
• • You will be expected to manage relationships with local agencies, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), financial institutions, and other partners within the Indian crypto ecosystem.
• • This role requires a deep understanding of the competitive crypto landscape in India, including local payment ecosystems, effective marketing channels, and unique growth opportunities.
• • You will also need to possess advanced knowledge of how crypto products function, crypto revenue models, and the prevailing crypto culture, with a preference for experience in other financial products like equities or yield products.
• • Experience marketing within regulated industries, particularly financial services, is highly valued, as it will inform your approach to compliance and market entry.
• • A strong command of marketing analytics, including key performance metrics, attribution modeling, and A/B testing, is essential, along with proficiency in analytical tools and Marketing Technology (MarTech).
• • We are looking for individuals who demonstrate exceptional creative thinking, capable of developing data-grounded growth ideas and persuasively advocating for their implementation.
