- • As Head of Remote Payment Services UK, you will lead the operational and regulatory oversight of Remote’s UK payments entity, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and driving growth in a key market for global employment solutions.
- • Day to day, you will act as the Entity Head, liaising with regulators, leading board meetings, managing risk and internal controls, and collaborating across Legal, Compliance, Product, Finance, and senior management to align operations with regulatory requirements.
- • You will join Remote’s Payments & Fintech department, part of a globally distributed, mission-driven company solving global employment compliance through innovative HR technology, with team members across six continents and a strong async-first culture.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in UK financial regulation, strengthen Remote’s regulatory footprint, and build governance frameworks that support scalable, compliant international payroll operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of payments experience in Strategy, Legal, Operations, or Entity management, preferably in payments infrastructure or mass payout solutions
- • 5+ years of experience with a Payments Institution or Electronic Money Institution regulated by the FCA
- • Strong understanding of UK financial legislation and payments products across the ecosystem
- • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a commercial outlook and track record leading complex projects in distributed organizations
- • Must be a UK resident and fluent in English (written and spoken)
