- • As Head of Remote Payment Services UK, you will lead the operational and regulatory oversight of Remote’s UK payments entity, serving as the primary liaison with the FCA and other UK regulators to ensure compliance and support business growth in a key market.
- • Day to day, you will own end-to-end processes for the UK payments entity, lead board and management meetings, develop internal controls and policies, coordinate audits, and collaborate across Legal, Compliance, Tax, Product, Finance, and Payments teams to align regulatory requirements with product and operational strategy.
- • You will join Remote’s Payments & Fintech department, part of a growing Financial Services subgroup that holds financial licenses in the UK, Netherlands, and Canada, working within a global, async-first culture with team members across six continents.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in UK financial regulation, strengthen your leadership in regulated payments environments, and drive governance and compliance excellence while enabling Remote’s mission to simplify global employment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of payments experience in Strategy, Legal, Operations, or Entity management, preferably in payments infrastructure or mass payout solutions
- • 5+ years of experience with a Payments Institution or Electronic Money Institution regulated by the FCA
- • Strong understanding of UK financial legislation and payments products across the ecosystem
- • Effective communicator with proven ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders
- • Strong project and stakeholder management skills with a track record of leading complex projects in distributed organizations
- • Must be a UK resident and fluent in English (written and spoken)
