- • As Head of Risk at Ondo Finance, you will build and own the end-to-end risk function across products, protocols, and balance sheet, ensuring institutional-grade risk standards are maintained while enabling safe scaling into complex products like perpetuals.
- • You will define and implement a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, oversee risk engine optimization, embed risk-aware product design, and lead real-time monitoring and stress testing across smart contract, market, liquidity, and counterparty risks.
- • Ondo Finance is a global leader in tokenized treasuries, stocks, and ETFs, backed by top-tier investors including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, and Pantera Capital, with a fully remote team across the U.S. and a mission to deliver institutional-grade blockchain-enabled investment products.
- • In this role, you will shape core decisions around capital allocation, liquidity, and system design, gain deep exposure to both traditional and crypto finance systems, and establish governance processes that ensure resilience and transparency in high-stakes environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in risk management, trading, or related quantitative roles, spanning both traditional finance and crypto
- • Deep understanding of equities markets, derivatives (including perpetual futures), crypto markets, collateralized lending, and exchange mechanics across both CeFi and DeFi
- • Proficiency with quantitative tooling for risk modeling and simulation
- • Strong familiarity with smart contract systems and common DeFi risk vectors
- • Experience defining and managing risk parameters such as margining, liquidation engines, auto-deleveraging, and liquidity controls
- • Strong quantitative intuition with ability to model and evaluate market, liquidity, credit, and counterparty risk
