📋 Description

• As Head of Security Engineering at Suno Inc., you will define, lead, and scale the company’s security strategy across applications, cloud infrastructure, AI systems, and internal environments, playing a critical role in protecting the platform that enables anyone to create and discover original music.
• You will design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS and GCP, lead teams in Cloud Security, Identity Access Management, Security Operations, and Product Security, and provide technical leadership from conception to operation of security products.
• You will partner closely with Engineering, IT, Legal, and Product teams to ensure security is embedded in all decisions, while nurturing a high-performance engineering team through clear expectations, continuous feedback, and a culture of collaboration, trust, and ownership.
• In this role, you will drive security maturity in a fast-growing AI startup, stay current with emerging technologies including agentic AI, and build a security organization that scales with Suno’s rapid growth and innovation in generative audio and video platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience leading security engineering and operations departments
• 5+ years of experience securing AWS environments
• Proven experience building and leading mission-critical teams
• Experience navigating complex global regulatory environments and consumer ecosystems
• Domain expertise in two or more security specializations (e.g., Product Security, Cloud Security, Security Operations, IAM, Cryptography)
