  • • As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be instrumental in shaping and scaling our entire hiring strategy. This pivotal role encompasses everything from securing executive leadership talent to sourcing and closing highly specialized technical positions. Your primary mission is to cultivate a world-class recruiting function that not only fuels the company's rapid growth but also upholds an exceptionally high standard for every hire.
  • • In close collaboration with the Head of People, our founders, and the broader leadership team, you will translate overarching business objectives into concrete hiring outcomes. You will act as a trusted strategic advisor, building strong relationships and ensuring the consistent attraction and successful onboarding of top-tier talent.
  • • This role demands a proactive, builder-oriented mindset, a commanding executive presence, profound fluency in technical recruiting, and a comfort level operating within dynamic and often ambiguous environments. You will be directly accountable for achieving critical hiring targets and laying the foundational talent infrastructure for the company's sustained success.
  • • **Executive Search & Leadership Hiring:** You will take ownership of all executive and senior leadership recruitment efforts. This includes personally spearheading critical executive searches, effectively managing and leveraging external search firms, and collaborating closely with founders and hiring managers on defining roles, developing robust assessment strategies, and executing successful closing plans. You will set the benchmark for executive hiring excellence across the organization.
  • • **Hiring Strategy & Bar Setting:** You will be responsible for the end-to-end hiring outcomes for the entire company. This involves establishing and maintaining a consistently high bar for talent across all positions. You will partner intimately with leaders to ensure rigorous assessment methodologies and sound hiring decisions are made at every level.
  • • **Leadership & Team Building:** A key aspect of this role is to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Talent Acquisition team. You will foster a culture of ownership, excellence, and continuous improvement by creating clear role definitions, setting precise expectations, and driving performance management within the team.
  • • **Hiring Process & Infrastructure:** You will design and implement scalable, efficient recruiting processes and infrastructure. Utilizing data analytics, you will diagnose the health of the hiring funnel, enhance decision-making processes, and continuously iterate to optimize hiring effectiveness and efficiency.
  • • **Candidate Experience & Employer Brand:** You will champion a high-touch, thoughtful, and positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle. In partnership with leadership and brand stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping and effectively communicating Distyl's compelling employer story and value proposition.
  • • **Stakeholder Partnership:** Cultivating deep, trusted relationships with founders and hiring managers is paramount. You will serve as a proactive, strategic advisor, guiding them through every stage of the hiring process and ensuring alignment with business needs and talent objectives.
