Head of the EA Infrastructure Fund

📋 Description

• • Lead the EA Infrastructure Fund (EAIF) and an updated version of CEA's Community Building Grants (CBG) program, shaping millions of dollars in grantmaking to strengthen effective altruism's foundations through strategic funding of organizations, research, and community-building efforts.
• • Define the fund's strategic direction, grow its donor base, and build EAIF into a compelling vehicle for impact by making grants, sourcing high-impact opportunities, and communicating grantmaking reasoning transparently.
• • Work within the Centre for Effective Altruism (CEA), which stewards the effective altruism movement by applying evidence, reason, and compassion to global challenges like poverty, animal suffering, and existential risks, and recently integrated with EA Funds to scale grantmaking capacity.
• • Develop strategic leadership, fundraising, and ecosystem development skills while contributing to EA Funds' broader strategy, managing multi-million dollar budgets, and building teams as the fund grows.
