- • This is a pivotal senior leadership opportunity to establish and lead Fanvue's global Trust and Safety function. You will be instrumental in architecting and implementing scalable systems designed to protect our platform, proactively mitigate risks, and enable sustainable, ethical growth. This role transcends reactive content moderation; it demands strategic vision, team building, sophisticated tooling development, and deep collaboration with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Operations teams. Your leadership will ensure Fanvue grows with integrity, resilience, and transparency, setting the benchmark for safety in the creator economy.
- • **Key Responsibilities and Strategic Impact:**
- • **Strategic Ownership:** Define, own, and continuously evolve Fanvue's comprehensive trust and safety strategy, operating model, and roadmap. This encompasses all facets of moderation, enforcement, and proactive risk management across the platform.
- • **Team Leadership and Development:** Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, globally distributed Trust and Safety team. This includes strategic hiring, comprehensive training programs, establishing robust quality assurance processes, and effective performance management to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
- • **Policy and Framework Development:** Develop, maintain, and iterate on clear and effective community guidelines, robust enforcement policies, and well-defined escalation frameworks that are fair, consistent, and adaptable to evolving platform dynamics.
- • **Incident Response and Crisis Management:** Lead and manage responses to high-risk, sensitive, or high-impact incidents with exceptional judgment, accountability, and clear communication, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum protection for users and the platform.
- • **Product and Engineering Collaboration:** Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to design, implement, and scale advanced safety tooling. This includes leveraging cutting-edge AI and automation for enhanced moderation, proactive threat detection, and efficient enforcement systems.
- • **Performance Measurement and Reporting:** Define, track, and analyze key trust and safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Produce clear, concise, and executive-level reporting on platform health, emerging risks, and critical trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- • **Regulatory Compliance and Best Practices:** Ensure Fanvue's operations and policies are in full compliance with relevant global regulations, platform obligations, and evolving industry best practices, maintaining our reputation as a responsible platform.
- • **Internal Advocacy and Influence:** Serve as the primary internal authority and subject matter expert on trust, safety, and platform integrity. Influence product development roadmaps and broader company strategy to embed safety considerations at every level.
- • **Risk Mitigation and Proactive Measures:** Implement proactive strategies to identify and mitigate potential risks, including policy violations, fraudulent activities, and emerging threats, ensuring the long-term health and viability of the Fanvue ecosystem.
- • **User Protection and Creator Enablement:** Balance the critical need for user safety and platform integrity with the imperative to enable creator freedom and success, fostering a positive and productive environment for all stakeholders.
- • **Scalability and Future-Proofing:** Design and implement systems and processes that are inherently scalable, anticipating future growth in user base, content volume, and platform complexity, ensuring that safety measures keep pace with innovation.
- • **Cross-Functional Alignment:** Foster strong working relationships and ensure seamless collaboration with Legal, Policy, Communications, and Customer Support teams to create a unified approach to platform integrity and user experience.
