  • • Lead the strategic direction and operational execution for the Vision Care Solutions (VCS) division within the United States, ensuring alignment with global ZEISS objectives and driving significant business growth.
  • • Develop and implement a comprehensive U.S. VCS strategy, identifying emerging market trends, unmet needs, and untapped opportunities to expand the portfolio of advanced technology solutions.
  • • Act as the primary representative for the VCS division in executive-level forums, contributing critical insights and strategic recommendations to long-term business planning and organizational development.
  • • Champion innovation within the VCS division, fostering a culture that encourages the exploration and adoption of cutting-edge technologies to maintain ZEISS's pioneering position in the market.
  • • Ensure rigorous adherence to all relevant regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, FDA guidelines, and data privacy laws, for all VCS products, services, and operational processes.
  • • Establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes and comprehensive risk management protocols to safeguard product integrity, patient safety, and business continuity.
  • • Spearhead the integration of VCS solutions with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, as well as other critical technology partners, to create a seamless and interconnected ecosystem for healthcare providers.
  • • Foster strong collaborative relationships with global VCS leadership, R&D departments, supply chain management, and commercial teams to ensure the cohesive and efficient delivery of innovative solutions.
  • • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing VCS team, cultivating talent and empowering individuals to achieve their full potential.
  • • Design and implement comprehensive training and certification programs for technical sales and support staff, ensuring they possess the expertise to effectively sell, install, and service the complete VCS product portfolio.
  • • Collaborate closely with sales and technical service management to guarantee that the VCS team is consistently up-to-date with product knowledge and certified where necessary.
  • • Drive strategic account acquisition and retention initiatives, focusing on building long-term partnerships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • • Provide executive-level support to sales teams, delivering compelling presentations and expertly positioning VCS solutions to prospective and existing clients.
  • • Diligently monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial performance metrics, ensuring that revenue and profitability targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • • Strategically organize and manage all approved Trade Show activities, maximizing impact and ensuring a strong return on investment for marketing and business development efforts.
  • • Uphold and promote a strong safety culture, adhering to all established safety standards and promptly reporting any safety concerns to leadership to ensure a secure working environment.
  • • Drive digital transformation initiatives within the VCS division, leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency, customer engagement, and market competitiveness.
  • • Cultivate and maintain strong external relationships with industry leaders, technology providers, and key opinion leaders to enhance the reputation and market presence of ZEISS Vision Care Solutions.
  • • Demonstrate a commercially astute, customer-centric approach with a proactive and "can-do" attitude, consistently seeking opportunities to add value and exceed expectations.
  • • Possess strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • • Serve as a credible and confident communicator, possessing first-class presentation skills for both written and verbal interactions with diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership.
