📋 Description

• Lead the SIM Development & Innovation team as Head of xSIM Engineering, driving the strategy and execution of eSIM and Remote SIM Provisioning technologies to support Oxio’s mission of building a global Telecom as a Service (TaaS) platform.
• Act as Product Owner for SIM profiles, applets, and OTA platforms, managing end-to-end SIM lifecycle from specification and vendor coordination to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement across multiple countries and carriers.
• Collaborate with SIM manufacturers and vendors to standardize procedures, ensure interoperability, and maintain high service quality, privacy, and security for Oxio’s global customer base.
• Contribute to technical innovation by participating in applet development, improving SIM orchestration, and enhancing OTA platforms while ensuring compliance with GSMA, ETSI, 3GPP, and GlobalPlatform standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Engineering degree in Information Technology, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
• Minimum of 10–12 years of experience in smart card environments or telecommunications with deep technical expertise in SIM technology, security, and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Java Card 2.2.2+ development, electronic profile creation, and Remote SIM Provisioning (GSMA SGP.02, SGP.22).
• Strong knowledge of (e)SIM technologies including SIM OTA protocols (SCP80/81, BIP), iSIM, NFC, Java Card, cryptography, applets, and EAP.
• Familiarity with GSMA, ETSI, 3GPP, GlobalPlatform, and ISO standards (e.g., SMDP+, SMP DP/SR, ISO 7816, ISO 14443).
• Proven project management skills, excellent technical writing ability, and comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
