  • • Serve as the primary field-based expert on reimbursement, coding, and coverage for Medtronic ENT therapies across hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician practices.
  • • Develop and implement reimbursement strategies to remove coding, coverage, and payment barriers that hinder adoption of Medtronic products and therapies.
  • • Educate physicians, billing staff, administrators, and healthcare providers on correct use of HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10 codes, modifiers, and documentation requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
  • • Provide one-on-one and group training on prior authorization, claim submission, appeals, and payment processes to ensure accurate reimbursement.
  • • Conduct financial audits and benchmarking analyses to evaluate financial and policy factors impacting therapy adoption and reimbursement efficiency.
  • • Develop monthly reports on provider activities, regional trends, and reimbursement developments to support quarterly updates to Senior Leadership.
  • • Deliver in-person and virtual reimbursement workshops, policy update sessions, and webinars to clinical and administrative stakeholders.
  • • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless customer experience and regulatory adherence.
  • • Identify, triage, and resolve access barriers in collaboration with internal reimbursement support teams.
  • • Support new product launches and payment advocacy efforts by influencing economic and policy decisions related to product coding and reimbursement.
  • • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key influencers including C-suite, administration, director-level personnel, and private practice managers.
  • • Utilize business and financial measures with economic modeling to develop and implement strategic concepts with payer and provider decision-makers.
  • • Ensure all activities comply with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • • Travel 50-75% of the time to support field collaboration, customer engagements, and project completion.
  • • Assist in developing reimbursement materials and tools for internal sales teams and external customers including physicians, coders, and administrators.
  • • Monitor and respond to commercial and government payer trends to determine and implement appropriate solutions.
  • • Collaborate with Marketing colleagues to address the needs of key government, healthcare agencies, and commercial stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree required
  • • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in medical device coding, coverage, and payment (reimbursement), or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at time of hire and for duration of employment
