  • • Embark on a rewarding career as an outside sales Healthcare Account Executive with A Place for Mom, a leader in guiding families through the complexities of senior care. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary ambassador for A Place for Mom within your assigned territory, forging strong relationships with key healthcare professionals at hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Your mission will be to drive lead generation and facilitate successful move-ins to senior living communities and home care agencies, directly impacting the lives of families and seniors in urgent need of care.
  • • You will be instrumental in growing our business by becoming the trusted point of contact for hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, ensuring a seamless transition for patients requiring post-acute care. This role demands a proactive and relationship-driven approach, where you will be responsible for nurturing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities to expand our reach and impact.
  • • A core responsibility involves delivering on a target quota of families selecting a senior care option each month. This will be achieved through diligent daily efforts in generating qualified patient referrals from your strategically developed market plan accounts. You will actively manage and grow a portfolio of clients, including social workers, case managers, and discharge planners, within hospitals and skilled nursing centers.
  • • Cultivating new contacts within each account is paramount. You will employ a multi-faceted strategy encompassing networking, persistent cold calls, and impactful service presentations. Crucially, you will follow up with each referral source on discharge outcomes, reinforcing the tangible value and exceptional service A Place for Mom provides, thereby building loyalty and trust.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve educating families about their available care options. You will work collaboratively with your dedicated Healthcare Senior Living Advisor partner to guide families through the decision-making process, ensuring they find the most suitable senior living or home care solution as they transition out of a healthcare facility.
  • • Success in this role is measured by your ability to work effectively with your partner Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to meet and exceed your target quota of families moving into a community or hiring in-home care. This collaborative effort ensures a comprehensive and supportive experience for every family.
  • • To effectively manage your responsibilities and drive performance, you will leverage and analyze data from our CRM and internal reporting structures. This data-driven approach will be essential for developing and managing your sales pipeline, identifying trends, and optimizing your outreach strategies.
  • • As A Place for Mom is committed to continuous improvement and innovation, you will have the opportunity to pilot new initiatives, tests, and processes. This includes contributing feedback on account scoring, CRM enhancements, and other tools and resources designed to improve our operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping the future of our sales operations.
  • • This role operates within a fast-paced, growing industry where every day presents new challenges and opportunities to make a profound difference. You will be working with individuals and families facing significant life transitions, requiring empathy, resilience, and a genuine desire to help.
  • • Your daily activities will involve being in the field, building rapport with healthcare professionals, understanding their needs, and presenting A Place for Mom's solutions. This requires a high degree of autonomy, excellent time management, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic environment of healthcare facilities.
  • • The ideal candidate is hungry to learn, possesses a strong competitive spirit, and thrives in an independent setting where they can take ownership of their territory and drive results. You will be expected to roll up your sleeves, embrace new processes, and consistently strive to achieve your goals, all while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • • By joining A Place for Mom, you are not just taking a sales job; you are becoming part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving the lives of seniors and their families. Your work will directly contribute to our overarching goal of simplifying the senior care search and ensuring that every family finds the right care solution.
