  • • As a Healthcare Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving the sales of our cutting-edge Identity Security solutions within the healthcare sector across California. This role demands a strategic thinker and a skilled communicator who can expertly navigate complex sales cycles, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will be the primary point of contact for prospects and customers, responsible for understanding their unique needs, articulating the value proposition of SailPoint's offerings, and orchestrating internal and external resources to ensure successful outcomes.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass exceeding ambitious revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis. This involves developing comprehensive business and territory plans that align with SailPoint's strategic objectives and the specific dynamics of the healthcare market. You will be expected to engage proactively with customers and business partners, fostering high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty in line with SailPoint's core values. Collaboration with the marketing team will be key to developing and executing effective marketing plans tailored for partners and end-users within the healthcare ecosystem.
  • • Key to your success will be your ability to meticulously pursue all supplied leads, ensuring all internal systems, particularly Salesforce, are kept up-to-date with accurate and timely information. You will lead and coordinate a virtual team of resources, including pre-sales engineers, partner managers, deal desk specialists, professional services consultants, business value assessment teams, and customer success managers. This collaborative approach is essential for positioning SailPoint's solutions effectively against competitors and demonstrating their advantages to prospective clients. Furthermore, you will maintain consistent post-sale follow-up to ensure ongoing account coverage and identify new sales opportunities, thereby nurturing long-term customer relationships.
  • • Owning the entire sales cycle is paramount. This includes expertly managing the qualification process, delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations, responding to RFPs, navigating complex negotiations, and driving the closing process to successful completion. A deep understanding of your territory is crucial, encompassing detailed knowledge of existing customers, prospects, key partners, industry influencers, and competitive landscapes within the healthcare sector. You must be adept at understanding and articulating the product and technological strategies of both competitive and complementary organizations operating in the SailPoint market space.
  • • Effective communication and influence across all levels of a customer's organization, from business executives to technical decision-makers, are critical. You will leverage all available channel management and reporting tools, including maintaining accurate forecasts and ensuring high data hygiene in Salesforce. The role requires a proactive, team-oriented individual who can quarterback complex sales efforts, make sound decisions regarding resource engagement, and hold team members accountable for their contributions. Your ability to develop strategic territory and opportunity plans, outlining the steps required from initial discovery to deal closure, will be a cornerstone of your performance. You will also work closely with leadership to refine your strategies and maximize their effectiveness.
  • • Your initial months will focus on establishing a strong foundation: understanding your account list, identifying top-tier accounts and "big bet" opportunities, capturing historical account knowledge, and building relationships with key partners. You will develop and present comprehensive territory and pipeline plans, demonstrating a clear understanding of account potential, identifying gaps to target, and outlining engagement strategies with marketing and channel partners. By the six-month mark, the expectation is to have built a robust pipeline of 2-3 times your target, refined your go-to-market approach for the healthcare segment, and demonstrated consistent progress through sales stages, solidifying your position as a key contributor to SailPoint's continued success.
