- • As a Senior Consultant at Guidehouse, you will be instrumental in driving impactful solutions within the healthcare industry, focusing on managed care and financial strategy. This role demands a blend of client management, strategic problem-solving, and hands-on implementation to address the complex financial challenges faced by health systems, hospitals, Academic Medical Centers (AMCs), and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
- • You will take ownership of critical project workstreams, engaging daily with clients to ensure the successful delivery of engagements. This involves facilitating operational meetings with client sponsors and senior consulting leaders, demonstrating strong project management and communication skills.
- • A key responsibility will be to prepare and present well-organized, effective reports and presentations to both client and internal executives, translating complex financial and strategic information into actionable insights.
- • You will be expected to lead, coach, and mentor junior consultants, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centric solutions.

- • Bridge the gap between payer and clinical expertise to create synergistic and more robust solutions for clients, with a clear objective of enhancing value and improving patient outcomes.
- • Actively contribute to nationwide business development and relationship management activities, engaging with Guidehouse Healthcare clients who are seeking to implement alternative, value-based care models.
- • Play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the firm’s leading-edge consulting capabilities within the value transformation service line, contributing to Guidehouse's reputation as an industry leader.
- • Analyze client investment portfolios, refine contracts, and align strategies with growth imperatives to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
- • Develop and implement corporate financial plans for healthcare payers and providers, incorporating longitudinal analysis and validated forward-looking strategies.
- • Advise healthcare CFOs, Chief Strategy Officers (CSOs), and CEOs on managed care contract details and benefits design to maximize revenue and mitigate financial risks.
- • Utilize your pricing and health economics experience to inform strategic recommendations and financial modeling.
- • Influence C-suite healthcare clients on strategic decisions, including the selling, designing, and implementing of programs that demonstrably deliver results, drawing upon your executive consulting experience.
