- • Own the end-to-end sales process for acquiring new health system clients, including prospecting, outreach, negotiations, and closing contracts with C-suite executives at hospitals and health systems.
- • Build and manage a scalable sales pipeline focused on expanding Marvin’s footprint with top-tier health systems such as Cedars-Sinai, Jefferson Health, Geisinger, and the Harvard Department of Psychiatry.
- • Lead strategic negotiations and contract redlining with health system decision-makers to secure favorable terms and signed agreements.
- • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and untapped opportunities within the healthcare provider market.
- • Represent Marvin at industry conferences, healthcare summits, and networking events to increase brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
- • Engage directly with C-suite executives including CMOs, CNOs, CWOs, and CHROs to understand organizational pain points and position Marvin’s mental health platform as a strategic solution.
- • Integrate feedback from clients and internal teams to refine sales messaging, outreach tactics, and product positioning.
- • Utilize AI tools to enhance prospecting efficiency, pipeline tracking, and sales forecasting.
- • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity metrics to ensure transparency and alignment with sales leadership.
- • Balance 1–2 days per week in-office presence in Denver, Los Angeles, or New York with remote work for the remainder of the week.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with company-wide goals and client outcomes.
- • Operate autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity, adapting quickly to evolving priorities and market feedback.
- • Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and professional integrity in all client interactions and business practices.
- • Deliver compelling, data-driven sales presentations tailored to the unique needs of large health systems and clinical leadership teams.
- • Drive organizational change by demonstrating the measurable impact of Marvin’s platform on healthcare worker burnout and retention.
- • Track and report on key sales metrics including pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and deal size trends to inform strategic adjustments.
- • Maintain deep knowledge of the healthcare industry’s operational structure, regulatory landscape, and procurement processes.
- • Proactively identify and pursue strategic partnerships beyond direct sales to extend Marvin’s reach within the healthcare ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, including at least 2 years selling directly to health systems
- • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas in B2B enterprise sales
- • Demonstrated success selling to C-suite executives in healthcare (e.g., CMO, CNO, CWO, CHRO) and working with clinicians
- • Experience using AI tools to enhance sales productivity and pipeline management
- • Strong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to drive organizational change
- • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
🏖️ Benefits
- • Base salary range of $115,000–$135,000 with uncapped commission targeting $165,000 in variable compensation for an on-target total of $290,000
