đź“‹ Description
- • Solace Corporation is on a mission to fundamentally transform the U.S. healthcare system, which is notoriously complex and difficult for the majority of adults to navigate. We empower patients by connecting them with expert advocates and providing the essential tools needed to make informed decisions, ultimately leading to better health outcomes. As a rapidly growing Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by prominent venture capital firms including Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP, we are building a lean, mission-driven team that is dedicated to making a significant impact.
- • We are seeking to build a robust team of exceptional Healthcare Recruiter I professionals to significantly scale our clinical hiring initiatives. Initially, our focus will be on recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs), with plans to expand into other critical healthcare professions in the future. This role is a high-volume, fast-paced position situated at the forefront of our recruitment funnel. Your primary responsibility will involve conducting a high volume of Zoom interviews daily with pre-qualified, inbound candidates. You will meticulously assess their basic eligibility and qualifications, and then efficiently schedule those who meet our criteria for subsequent interviews with our Senior Recruiters.
- • This is not a conventional recruiting position. You will be instrumental in qualifying warm leads, making critical judgment calls on candidate progression, and setting the initial tone for every candidate's experience with Solace. Operating with a sense of urgency, you will be pivotal in identifying the right talent to join our growing organization. Your ability to quickly assess candidates and move them through the process will directly impact our ability to serve more patients.
- • Key responsibilities include conducting approximately 20-25 Zoom-based screening calls each day, primarily with inbound RN candidates. You will rigorously assess essential fit criteria such as active licensure, immediate availability, and foundational professional qualifications. A crucial part of your role will be to articulate a clear, compelling overview of the nursing opportunity and to set precise expectations regarding the subsequent steps in the hiring process. You will be expected to schedule same-day or next-day interviews for qualified candidates with our Senior Recruiters, ensuring a swift and efficient hiring pipeline. Furthermore, you will engage in close collaboration with senior members of the recruiting team to continuously refine our outreach messaging, optimize interview processes, and enhance overall recruitment efficiency.
- • Success in this role hinges on your ability to manage a high volume of interactions while maintaining a high standard of candidate experience. You will be the first point of contact for many potential hires, and your professionalism, clarity, and enthusiasm will significantly influence their perception of Solace. This role demands a proactive approach, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to make sound decisions quickly. You will be empowered to take ownership of your pipeline and contribute directly to the company's growth by ensuring a steady flow of qualified clinical talent.
- • Beyond the core interview and scheduling duties, you will contribute to building a strong employer brand by representing Solace with integrity and passion. You will gain deep insights into the healthcare industry and the specific needs of our patient advocacy services. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your recruiting skills in a dynamic startup environment, working alongside a dedicated team committed to a shared, impactful mission. Your contributions will be directly visible and highly valued as we expand our reach and impact on patient care across the United States. We are looking for individuals who are not just looking for a job, but for a chance to make a real difference in healthcare.
- • The ideal candidate will be energized by high-output, high-ownership work, viewing each candidate interaction as a fresh opportunity to connect and assess. Clear and warm communication, particularly over video conferencing platforms, is paramount. You must thrive in an environment that is constantly evolving, demonstrating the ability to pivot quickly without losing momentum or efficiency. A proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding recruitment targets is essential. Strong professional judgment will enable you to identify potential red flags or misalignment with our company culture and role requirements within the initial minutes of an interview. Ambition to grow and a hunger to learn are critical; this is not a role for those content with the status quo. You will be part of a strong, team-centered environment where collective success is prioritized, and individual contributions are celebrated within the broader team's achievements. While you are expected to be highly competent, a collaborative spirit and a willingness to check ego at the door are fundamental to our culture.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of recruiting experience (agency, in-house, or both), with a strong preference for experience in high-volume or clinical recruitment.
- • Proven ability to conduct a high volume of interviews daily (20-25+) while maintaining quality and candidate experience.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and convey information clearly and warmly, especially via Zoom.
- • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding recruitment targets and KPIs in previous roles.
- • Strong professional judgment and the ability to quickly assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and potential red flags.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
- • Generous paid time off and holidays.
- • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement within a rapidly growing startup.
- • A mission-driven work environment with a tangible impact on improving healthcare outcomes.
