  • • As a Senior Proposal Manager – Pricing at Worldwide Clinical Trials, you will be instrumental in shaping our competitive edge by developing sophisticated and compelling pricing solutions for complex clinical development projects. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with a diverse range of cross-functional experts, including operational, clinical, and business development teams, to ensure our proposals are not only financially sound but also strategically aligned with our operational excellence and technical approaches.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be the meticulous development of pricing for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and supplemental documentation. You will manage the entire lifecycle of proposal pricing, from initial bid development to the finalization of statements of work, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to strict timelines and quality standards.
  • • You will act as a key contributor in reviewing and critically evaluating input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This involves challenging assumptions and data to guarantee that the proposed pricing strategy is not only fit for purpose but also seamlessly integrates with and supports the overall operational delivery strategy of the company, reinforcing our commitment to quality and efficiency.
  • • A crucial aspect of this role is the maintenance and review of pricing metrics. You will be responsible for ensuring cross-therapeutic consistency in our pricing models, identifying trends, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our pricing methodologies. This analytical function is vital for maintaining our market competitiveness and profitability.
  • • You will be tasked with developing bespoke, proposal-specific commercial strategies. These strategies will be presented to and approved by pricing leadership, requiring a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and our internal capabilities. Your ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive review will be paramount.
  • • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work hand-in-hand with Account Directors, Clinical Operations, and other operational teams to ensure that pricing solutions are effectively integrated into comprehensive proposals and statements of work. This ensures a cohesive and persuasive offering to our clients.
  • • Meeting demanding proposal deadlines is a critical requirement. You will excel at establishing clear priorities, setting realistic target dates for information gathering, implementation, reviews, and approvals, thereby ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.
  • • You will serve as the central point of contact for the collection and consolidation of pricing information from various internal departments and external sources. This requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage information flow effectively.
  • • Engaging with SMEs to gather necessary data and customize pricing solutions will be a regular part of your duties. You will need to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively to elicit the required information and insights.
  • • You will be expected to respond to both routine and non-routine inquiries related to pricing and proposals in a timely, professional, and accurate manner. For complex inquiries, you will know when and how to seek assistance from appropriate resources to ensure resolution.
