- • Lead revenue integrity consulting projects focused on charge capture, charge reconciliation, and Epic EHR optimization to drive measurable financial outcomes for healthcare clients across hospital and professional billing environments.
- • Design and oversee implementation of data-driven recommendations addressing people, process, and technology improvements, including governance redesign, staff role refinement, workflow streamlining, and system optimization to eliminate revenue leakage.
- • Partner with healthcare clients to assess current-state operations, uncover trends and root causes of inefficiency, and develop evidence-based solutions aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
- • Mentor and lead project teams as a Managing Consultant or execute complex analyses and client deliverables as a Senior Consultant, ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate financial insights into operational improvements that enhance compliance, optimize charge capture, and support sustainable revenue cycle performance.
- • Contribute to Guidehouse’s Finance & Accounting Consulting practice by delivering strategic advisory services that help healthcare organizations achieve financial integrity and operational excellence.
- • Engage in up to 75% travel to client sites nationwide, enabling direct impact on healthcare revenue cycle transformation initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • 5+ years of revenue cycle management experience focused on optimization and performance improvement (for Managing Consultant) or 3+ years (for Senior Consultant)
- • 5+ years of management consulting, professional services, or project management experience (for Managing Consultant) or 3+ years (for Senior Consultant)
- • Demonstrated ability to present to large groups, both externally and within the practice
- • Proven success in driving operational process improvement and change management for revenue cycle optimization projects within hospitals and/or health systems
- • Intermediate to advanced data manipulation and analytical skills using Excel
