  • • This pivotal role involves positioning Interface as the premier provider of high-performance, sustainable flooring solutions tailored for the unique demands of healthcare environments, ensuring consistent profitable growth and fostering enduring partnerships.
  • • The Healthcare Strategy Director will provide visionary leadership, meticulously define market strategies, and foster cross-functional collaboration to achieve measurable business outcomes and significantly enhance Interface’s brand presence within the healthcare sector.
  • • The scope of the Healthcare segment encompasses all new construction, renovation, and remodeling projects within a diverse range of facilities, including hospitals and medical centers, outpatient and ambulatory surgery centers, physician and specialist offices, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, and VA and military hospitals and clinics.
  • • A core responsibility is the development and execution of a comprehensive healthcare market segment strategy, ensuring its seamless alignment with Interface’s overarching corporate growth objectives.
  • • You will partner closely with Regional Sales Directors to achieve ambitious revenue, margin, and market share goals, while diligently maintaining disciplined budget management.
  • • The role requires delivering actionable market intelligence, deep customer insights, and thorough competitive analyses to inform and guide product innovation and strategic marketing initiatives.
  • • You will be instrumental in defining and meticulously monitoring key performance metrics (KPIs) to track progress, proactively identify emerging opportunities, and drive accountability across the entire healthcare segment.
  • • A primary objective is to drive year-over-year sales growth and significantly expand Interface’s footprint across all healthcare flooring categories.
  • • This involves cultivating and sustaining robust relationships with key decision-makers, including hospital administrators, facilities executives, influential architects, interior designers, and general contractors.
  • • You will be tasked with protecting and growing Top Accounts, ensuring strong customer retention, consistent recurring revenue streams, and the development of long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • • Championing Interface’s brand and its compelling value proposition within the broader healthcare design and construction community is paramount.
  • • You will collaborate effectively with Account Executives, Regional Sales Directors, and Area Vice Presidents to cultivate a cohesive and high-performing sales strategy specifically for the healthcare market.
  • • A key aspect of the role involves mentoring and coaching sales teams, enhancing their healthcare-specific expertise, refining their consultative selling skills, and promoting value-based selling approaches.
  • • Partnering with the Strategic Marketing team to develop bespoke tools, impactful presentations, and targeted campaigns specifically designed for healthcare customers is essential.
  • • Leveraging national and local Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts and health system agreements will be crucial for capturing and expanding market share.
  • • You will represent Interface at pivotal industry conferences, trade shows, and specialized healthcare design events, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • • Building strategic partnerships with key healthcare associations, influential sustainability organizations, and professional networks will be vital to enhancing Interface’s industry influence and visibility.
  • • Serving as a thought leader on critical topics such as infection control, acoustic performance, evolving design trends, and regulatory compliance within healthcare interiors will establish Interface as a trusted advisor.
  • • Operational excellence is key, requiring proficient utilization of Salesforce CRM for pipeline management, strategic account planning, and performance tracking.
  • • Analyzing market and sales data to make informed, data-driven business decisions will be a continuous requirement.
  • • Cross-functional collaboration will be essential to ensure seamless alignment between sales, marketing, and product strategy, creating a unified approach to the healthcare market.
