- • Design and deploy secure, scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS specifically for healthcare clients, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational objectives
- • Translate complex healthcare business requirements into technical cloud architectures spanning IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models
- • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, HITECH, and other healthcare-specific regulatory frameworks across all cloud deployments
- • Implement cloud governance frameworks based on Zero Trust principles, including identity management, encryption, and continuous security monitoring
- • Architect secure integrations between electronic health records (EHRs), health information exchanges (HIEs), and interoperability systems using HL7 and FHIR standards
- • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with defined recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) for high availability and disaster recovery
- • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation to automate deployment and configuration processes
- • Optimize cloud environments for cost efficiency and performance through FinOps practices, including resource tagging, usage analytics, and right-sizing
- • Produce comprehensive architecture documentation and provide mentorship to technical teams on cloud design patterns and best practices
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare client executives, guiding cloud strategy decisions that align with regulatory, financial, and clinical priorities
- • Lead and mentor junior architects and consultants, providing technical direction, quality assurance, and career development support
- • Collaborate with Directors and Partners to shape proposals, design solutions, and deliver client presentations for digital transformation and cloud adoption projects
- • Work in hybrid or multi-cloud environments to support diverse healthcare client infrastructures
- • Adapt to rapidly changing client needs and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced consulting environment
- • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite stakeholders
- • Travel up to 50% to meet client needs across the United States
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- • 5+ years of experience architecting Azure and/or AWS solutions in a healthcare environment
- • Proven experience designing secure, compliant cloud architectures for sensitive healthcare data
- • Proficiency in core Azure services (VMs, Entra ID, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, AKS, Networking, Monitor, Key Vault) and AWS services (EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, VPC, Load Balancing, CloudWatch, KMS, Route 53)
- • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST) and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
- • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (PowerShell, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation)
