📋 Description
- • Lead projects to enhance the maintainability and scalability of Inato’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring it supports rapid growth in patient data and system integrations.
- • Own day-to-day operations of the cloud infrastructure, resolving production issues directly or coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
- • Transition infrastructure management from a shared team responsibility to a dedicated, high-ownership role focused on reliability, security, and efficiency.
- • Redesign the IAM model to implement least-privilege access controls managed as code, replacing ad-hoc permissions with auditable, consistent, and scalable access policies.
- • Centralize logging across all environments by re-architecting the system to route all logs into a single dedicated sink project for unified observability and debugging.
- • Implement cost visibility and guardrails within the GCP footprint, including budget tracking, waste identification, alerting mechanisms, and cost optimization as a core infrastructure signal.
- • Coach and mentor other tech team members on best practices for leveraging cloud infrastructure capabilities, improving team-wide infrastructure literacy and autonomy.
- • Maintain and evolve infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to ensure reproducible, version-controlled, and secure cloud deployments.
- • Utilize GitHub and GitHub Actions to manage CI/CD pipelines that integrate with cloud infrastructure changes and ensure deployment reliability.
- • Enhance observability across the platform using OpenTelemetry and Axiom to monitor performance, detect anomalies, and reduce mean time to resolution for incidents.
- • Ensure infrastructure compliance with operational standards in a healthcare environment, supporting the company’s mission to enable clinical trials with data integrity and patient privacy.
- • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align infrastructure capabilities with product delivery timelines and technical requirements.
- • Maintain a proactive stance on system health, anticipating bottlenecks, security risks, and scalability challenges before they impact production.
- • Work in a remote-first environment with the option to use the Paris office located in Grands Boulevards, balancing flexibility with in-person collaboration when desired.
- • Contribute to a culture of technical excellence by documenting infrastructure decisions, sharing knowledge, and promoting standardized practices across the tech department.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in a similar role (infrastructure, platform, SRE, DevOps)
- • Strong experience managing cloud infrastructure using code
- • Deep understanding of Linux systems, containerization and orchestration
- • Solid networking fundamentals
- • Excellent communication, able to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- • Experience with GCP
