- • Configure and optimize Epic and/or Meditech revenue cycle applications across front-end, middle, and back-end functions including Patient Access, HIM, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Resolute applications
- • Support multiple concurrent Epic and/or Meditech implementation or optimization projects for healthcare clients
- • Analyze current-state revenue cycle workflows and recommend technology-enabled solutions using Epic and/or Meditech systems
- • Build, test, and validate configurations within Epic/Meditech platforms including workflow rules, system settings, and application modules
- • Conduct end-user training sessions and develop comprehensive training materials for clinical and administrative staff
- • Document technical specifications, system configurations, business processes, and workflow changes for audit and knowledge retention
- • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, client staff, and internal technical resources to ensure seamless project delivery
- • Support go-live activities including command center operations, real-time issue resolution, and post-implementation stabilization
- • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in collaboration with Epic/Meditech vendor teams and internal support resources
- • Contribute to knowledge management initiatives by creating and maintaining best practice documentation and reusable project artifacts
- • Lead Epic/Meditech revenue cycle implementation and optimization projects from initiation through successful go-live and sustained adoption
- • Provide strategic guidance to clients on revenue cycle workflows, healthcare reimbursement models, and compliance requirements including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
- • Manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and client relationships to ensure satisfaction and contract fulfillment
- • Mentor and develop junior consultants, providing technical coaching and career guidance in a consulting environment
- • Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders at executive, managerial, and operational levels to align on future-state design and implementation priorities
- • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that result in measurable revenue cycle performance outcomes
- • Utilize Epic reporting tools including Cogito, SlicerDicer, and Reporting Workbench to generate analytics and support decision-making
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epic and Meditech system upgrades, application updates, and new module releases
- • Travel up to 50% for Senior Consultant roles and up to 50-75% for Managing Consultant roles based on client project requirements
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or related field
- • 4+ years of hands-on Epic and/or Meditech revenue cycle implementation or optimization experience for Senior Consultant
- • 7+ years of Epic and/or Meditech revenue cycle leadership experience in consulting or implementation roles for Managing Consultant
- • Proficiency with Epic applications including Cadence, Prelude, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Revenue Guardian, and/or Meditech Expanse/Dream
- • Demonstrated experience across front-end (registration, scheduling), middle (charge capture, coding), and back-end (billing, collections, denials) revenue cycle functions
- • Working knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models and regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid)
