• We are actively seeking accomplished Portfolio Managers (PMs) and Senior Analysts who possess a proven track record within established hedge funds. • As an Expert AI Trainer, your primary responsibility will be to contribute your specialized knowledge to an AI training project. This involves translating complex investment concepts, analytical methodologies, and portfolio management decision-making into structured data and feedback that AI models can learn from and replicate.
• You will be tasked with articulating the core tenets of various hedge fund strategies, ensuring the AI develops a robust understanding of the underlying logic, risk considerations, and potential outcomes associated with different investment approaches.
• This role requires a strong aptitude for constructing and clearly communicating investment theses. Whether it's through detailed written analyses of single stocks, comprehensive credit assessments, or the development of systematic trading frameworks, your ability to articulate complex ideas will be paramount.
• You will also impart your practical experience in critical areas such as position sizing, sophisticated risk management techniques, and the high-accountability decision-making inherent in demanding investment environments.
• The project focuses on improving AI reasoning capabilities across a spectrum of hedge fund strategies, including but not limited to:
• Fundamental long/short equity, encompassing deep single-stock research, long-biased portfolios, and market-neutral approaches.
• Credit and distressed investing, covering high-yield debt, distressed securities, complex restructurings, and special situations.
• Event-driven and activist investing, including merger arbitrage, spin-offs, activist campaigns, and the identification of corporate catalysts.
• Macro and quantitative strategies, such as systematic trading, factor research, and discretionary macro approaches.
• Your contributions will directly impact the development of AI that can assist in identifying investment opportunities, assessing risks, and formulating strategies with greater efficiency and accuracy.
• This is a remote, asynchronous contract role, offering flexibility while demanding a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
• You will collaborate with an elite AI research lab, contributing to a project that promises to significantly advance the field of artificial intelligence in finance.
• The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of experience at a reputable hedge fund, holding a position as a Portfolio Manager or Senior Analyst.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Portfolio Manager or Senior Analyst at an established hedge fund.
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following hedge fund strategies: Multi-manager platforms, Fundamental long/short equity, Credit and distressed, Event-driven and activist, or Macro and quantitative.
• Proven ability to construct and articulate investment theses, credit analyses, or systematic frameworks in written form.
• Experience with position sizing, risk management, and operating within high-accountability investment environments.
• Ability to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week to the project.
