- • The HEOR Senior Consultant at Brown & Brown Insurance supports client healthcare initiatives through advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and real-world data insights to evaluate health economics outcomes, ROI, and benefit strategies.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include creating project plans, analyzing healthcare claims data, building predictive models in SQL, Python, and R, developing dashboards and reports, conducting health technology assessments, and translating complex analyses into actionable insights for stakeholders.

- • In this role, the consultant will deepen expertise in health economics outcomes research, lead cross-functional projects, mentor team members, and translate technical findings into clear business impact for diverse internal and external audiences.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist in the health sector, conducting statistical analysis and reporting on healthcare or claims data.
- • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, and/or SAS for data analysis and modeling.
- • Knowledge of healthcare data systems including ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, Revenue Codes, MS/APR-DRGs, APC, and experience with claims, encounters, labs, and EMR data sources.
- • Experience with machine learning techniques, propensity score matching, ROI analysis, and developing medical/pharmacy utilization reporting.
- • Ability to build and document analytical pipelines, collaborate across teams, and communicate complex findings in layperson terms.
