đź“‹ Description
- • As an HLR / HSS / UDM Architect at Oxio Technologies Inc., you will play a critical role in shaping the reliability and scalability of the company’s mobile core network by managing subscriber data management platforms across 2G through 5G infrastructures, directly enabling seamless connectivity for MVNO partners.
- • Day to day, you will manage and operate HLR, HSS, UDR, and UDM nodes; design subscriber provisioning workflows; implement and verify MAP, Diameter, and HTTP/2-based interfaces; monitor KPIs via dashboards; lead incident management; perform maintenance and security audits; conduct protocol trace analysis; lead project activities for node introductions and upgrades; support MVNO onboarding; participate in 7x24 on-call rotations; drive automation of provisioning tasks; and collaborate with IMS, RAN, and transport teams to resolve cross-domain issues.
- • Oxio Technologies Inc. is a forward-thinking MVNO platform provider evolving toward 5G standalone architecture, where your expertise will be instrumental in converging subscriber databases across legacy and cloud-native systems to ensure high availability, data integrity, and seamless roaming experiences for partner networks.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in end-to-end subscriber data management across generations of mobile core networks, lead complex integration and upgrade projects, influence the evolution of Oxio’s 5G-ready infrastructure, and gain hands-on experience with cloud-native telecom NFs, positioning you as a key authority in mobile core architecture and subscriber data convergence.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 10 years of experience in core network engineering with a focus on subscriber data management in mobile networks
- • BSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent; post-graduate studies are a plus
- • 10+ years of core telecommunications network experience, with a minimum of 5 years hands-on with HLR, HSS, UDR, or UDM platforms
- • Deep operational knowledge of HLR platforms (e.g., Ericsson HLR, Nokia FlexiISN, Huawei HLR9820) and their MAP/TCAP/SCCP signaling stacks
- • Hands-on experience with HSS platforms and Diameter-based interfaces: S6a, S6d, Cx, Sh, Zh — including Diameter routing agent (DRA) configuration and troubleshooting
- • Practical experience with 5G UDM and UDR, including cloud-native deployments (containerized/Kubernetes-based NFs) and HTTP/2 SBI interfaces (N8, Nudm_SubscriberDataManagement, Nudr_DataRepository)
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to shape the reliability and scalability of networks that partners depend on through direct impact on subscriber data management evolution
- • Work at the forefront of telecom innovation as Oxio evolves its MVNO platform toward 5G standalone architecture
- • Engage in complex, end-to-end projects involving introduction, upgrade, expansion, and activation of subscriber management nodes across 2G to 5G
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IMS, RAN, and transport to solve critical cross-domain authentication and registration issues
- • Participate in a culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, with commitment to equal opportunity and accommodation for disabilities
- • Deepen expertise in legacy and cloud-native telecom systems while driving automation and process improvements in a fast-moving MVNO environment
