  • In this role, you will operate within a vibrant sales center environment, focusing on building rapport with potential clients, understanding their unique needs, and guiding them towards the most suitable Home and Auto insurance policies. While our internal title is 'Insurance Advisor,' you will function as a licensed Insurance Agent, engaging in both inbound and outbound calls to consult, assess needs, and close sales. Your primary objective will be to match customers with the right coverage and benefits that align with their financial resources, property conditions, and risk profiles.
  • A key responsibility will be conducting thorough needs assessments. This involves delving into a client's financial situation, understanding the specifics of their property, reviewing their claims history, and identifying any existing coverage gaps. This detailed understanding allows you to provide personalized recommendations and build trust.
  • You will be empowered to finalize sales, which includes collecting deposits, arranging binders and certificates of insurance, and seamlessly coordinating with our dedicated service team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients. Your ability to effectively manage the sales cycle from initial contact to policy issuance is crucial for success.
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy and timeliness in all your interactions and documentation is paramount. You will need to develop and maintain a strong understanding of the underwriting criteria for our diverse range of insurance partners. This knowledge ensures that you are offering compliant and competitive solutions.
  • The role demands exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, as you will be on the phone for a significant portion of your day. A persuasive, goal-oriented mindset is essential, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for sales and a drive to succeed in a commission-driven environment. Your ability to be resilient in the face of rejection and maintain a positive, outgoing demeanor will be key to growing our client base.
  • Self-motivation and excellent time management skills are vital for navigating the sales center environment and managing your pipeline effectively. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, coachable, and possess a proactive approach to their professional development. While prior experience in sales or call centers is advantageous, we are equally interested in candidates who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to grow.
  • You will also be expected to be tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, being highly preferred. This technical aptitude will support your efficiency in managing client information and sales activities.

Upon passing the licensing exam, you will earn your P&C license, opening the door to a rewarding career in insurance sales. This structured approach ensures you are well-equipped from day one.
  • This is an in-office role located at 7910 Microsoft Way, Charlotte, NC 28277, operating on a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, with one Saturday per month from 9 am to 1 pm. You will be part of a supportive team environment, contributing to the overall success of The Baldwin Group, a Top 20 Insurance Broker known for offering clients access to multiple carriers for optimal coverage and pricing, with all leads provided.
  • Your compensation package includes a base pay of $41,600 annually, supplemented by monthly commission, offering significant earning potential based on your sales performance.
