📋 Description

• Conduct home energy assessments in residential single and manufactured homes to support utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs in New Mexico, helping homeowners improve energy efficiency, comfort, and take steps toward upgrades.
• Perform field visits to collect data on appliances, HVAC, building envelope, and windows; install energy-saving measures like LED lamps and smart power strips; document findings accurately in program software; and provide recommendations for further efficiency improvements.
• Engage with homeowners and tenants to educate on energy efficiency, answer questions, promote adoption of recommended measures, and follow up on quality assurance activities such as field inspections and customer surveys.
• Represent the program at community events like home and trade shows to register participants and raise awareness; work primarily in the field with occasional in-office presence and limited virtual days, supported by company-provided training and a work vehicle.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, walk, stand, install equipment, and perform overhead arm movements
• Willingness to obtain required certifications (such as BPI Building Analyst or RESNET HERS Rater) within six months of hire, with company-provided training and payment
• Experience with energy audits, promoting energy efficiency in residential settings, or a background in building science/construction
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
