- • Supervise and coordinate activities of Direct Support Associates across 1-3 residential facilities providing Non-ICF services
- • Monitor and provide feedback to staff on all three shifts regarding interactions and relationships with individuals supported
- • Work closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to standardize procedures and implement person-centered plans
- • Conduct audits for medication administration to ensure compliance and safety
- • Resolve employee issues and conduct formal performance reviews
- • Ensure all employees meet mandatory training requirements and attend required events
- • Monitor select budget items and maintain operations within established financial guidelines
- • Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation schedule
- • Serve as a positive role model in daily interactions with both staff and individuals supported
- • Maintain harmony between employees and clients within residential facilities
- • Ensure compliance with all operational, safety, and regulatory standards for residential care
- • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and stooping as needed during daily duties
- • Demonstrate proficiency in CPR from floor level, requiring hands-and-knees positioning, bending, standing, and lifting
- • Maintain required vision capabilities including close, distance, and peripheral vision
- • Communicate effectively through speaking and hearing to interact with staff, clients, and healthcare professionals
- • Adhere to all pre-employment screening requirements including criminal background check, registry checks (OIG, Child Abuse, Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities), drug testing, and education verification
- • For Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs only: Must be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL); speaking and hearing requirements do not apply
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- • Ability to lift and carry between 20 and 50 lbs.
- • Availability for flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and on-call coverage
- • Must be at least 18 years of age
- • CPR, first aid, NCI, and/or MedTech certification (preferred)
